PROPERTIES

The aqueous solution is a colourless transparent liquid and then has some usage for instance, soluble in water, alcohol, and ether, and insoluble in benzene, petroleum ether.

Pure hydrogen peroxide is a pale blue viscous liquid with a melting point of -0.43 °C and a boiling point of 150.2 °C. The molecular configuration of pure hydrogen peroxide will change, so the melting and boiling point will also change. The solid density at a freezing point is 1.71g/cm³, and the density decreases with increasing temperature. It is more associated with H2O, so it has a higher permittivity and boiling point than water.

APPLICATION

Hydrogen peroxide has many uses for example:

Firstly, the purpose of it divides medical, military and industrial use 3 kinds, and then daily disinfection is medical hydrogen peroxide, medical hydrogen peroxide can kill enteric pathogenic bacteria, pyogenic coccus, pathogenic yeast. In addition, commonly used for object surface disinfection.

Secondly, chemical industry used for the production of sodium perborate, sodium percarbonate, peracetic acid, sodium chlorite, thiourea peroxide and other raw materials, tartaric acid, vitamins and other oxidants. Moreover, the pharmaceutical industry used it as a fungicide, disinfectant. And then production of Fumei double insecticide and 40L antibacterial agent oxidant.
